So my main specialties are boudoir, portraits and weddings during wedding season. That’s what is most impactful to me and what I do for people. Recently I did some senior photos that were unexpected and in doing so, I wanted to find a way to make them feel different than what you typically see from senior photos. So one set with a senior started at a park and after those we also did some at her high school here in town and since she’s in welding, we incorporated that into her set as well. We split it up to give her variety. This was awesome as it gave me a chance to do something different, which is exactly what I wanted to do!
Her welding teacher at Colony High School set up a piece to weld and she put the welding gear on and as you can see, I captured her welding, sparks flying and all! Capturing the glow of the light on her helmet looked amazing ads well! It’s ideas like this that I get excited about. Creating something for them and with them, incorporating what they are involved with in classes or hobbies. Women can weld to you know!
So below are a couple of her senior photos at the park on a rainy day and then of course a couple of images with her in her welding gear!
Thanks Kayleen! Colony High School Class of 2020
